Ashwini's Guru - Smt Minal Prabhu

Guru Minal Prabhu began her journey of Bharatanatyam at Kalakshetra, Chennai. Her quest for mastering Bharatanatyam and  Carnatic vocal music has transformed her into a complete and multifaceted artiste.

Guru Minal Prabhu is known for the high standards she exacts out of her students. Her ingenious choreography is known to highlight the dancer’s Kinesthetic intelligence and is often met with acclaim from renowned critics.

Under the Mudrika banner, she has directed and showcased several dance productions.

She was awarded the Karnataka Kalashree in the year 2011 for her contribution to the field of Bharatanatyam and she continues to propagate the impeccable Kalakshetra style of Bharatanatyam to her students.
